Lorene Mathis

Lorene Mathis, 93, of Suwanee, Georgia passed away on the evening of June 22, 2023. She was born on February 5, 1930, to the late Bessie and Arthur Watkins. She is preceded in death by her husband Dallas Mathis who passed away in 2006 and by her daughter Regina. 

Lorene is survived by her three sons: David Mathis, Michael Mathis, and Kim Mathis, along with her granddaughter Samantha Pittman. 

Lorene’s family recalls her passion for gardening and her love both for the Lord and her family. Lorene was a member of Sharon Baptist Church where she was a Sunday School teacher and is remembered by many as a devoted Christian Woman. She will be missed dearly by many.

Funeral Services for Lorene Mathis will be held on Sunday, June 25, 2023, at 2:00PM in the Chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with Rev. Randy Rhye officiating. Interment will follow at Sharon Baptist Church Cemetery. The Mathis family will accept friends on Saturday, June 24, 2023, from 5:00PM to 8:00PM.
