Louin Hildrey Wagoner, age 88, of Gainesville, passed away Saturday, February 20, 2021. Louin loved his family and his church. He was a joyful soul and he loved to share stories and laughter with anyone he met. He was blessed to enjoy an active life for most of his 88 years and particularly loved to hunt, play tennis, play Rook, and enjoyed bluegrass music. He was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Louella Wagoner, his parents, Guy and Bertha Wagoner, along with several brothers and sisters.
He is survived by his daughter, Teresa Wilson, Gainesville; sons and daughters-in-law, Jeff and Lynn Wagoner, Cumming; Dave and Denise Wagoner, Cumming; grandchildren, Tyler & Shelby Wilson, Cumming, Max Wilson, Atlanta, Colby Wagoner, Cumming, Courtney & Jarrett Talley, Cumming; great-grandson, Banks Talley; brothers Clyde Wagoner, Cumming; Glen Wagoner, Detroit, MI; sister, Ruth Dupler, Doraville; brother in-laws and sister in-laws, Talmadge & Dianna Smith, Pound, VA, Max & Nell Hillman, Clintwood, VA, Carrie Szuba, Northville, MI, Lorraine Haynie, Kenova, WV; several nieces and nephews survive as well as his loyal sidekick, Rusty.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Harmony Grove Baptist Church, Cumming, Ga.
