Louis Lamar Payne

Louis Payne, 57 and a lifelong resident of Cumming, passed away Sunday, October 12th, 2014. He was a member of Blessed Hope Baptist Church. He was a loving husband, father, Paw Paw, brother, uncle and friend and a car fanatic who loved fishing and deer hunting. He was preceded in death by his parents, Berlin and Elvira Payne. Survivors include his wife of 32 years, Barbara Payne of Cumming; daughter, Christinia Mele and her fiance' Mike Baker of Cumming, son, Travis Carl Payne of Cumming; sisters, Betty Tanner of McDonough, Evalina Turner of Cumming, Linda Lewis of Senoia, Vivian Newberry of Cumming; brothers, Donnie Payne of Cumming, Adia Payne of Chattanooga; grandchildren, Tyler Joseph Mele, Alec Ethan Mele, Addison Cade Lamar Lyons and several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 16th at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with Rev. Barry Payne, Rev. Todd McGhee and Rev. Jackie Mooney officiating. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Wednesday from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm until 9:00 pm and Thursday from 9:00 am until hour of the service.
