Louise Densmore Barker

Louise Densmore Barker, 91, a lifelong resident of Forsyth County passed away Thursday, December 31, 2020. A Godly woman, Louise was strong, loving and generous. She loved cooking and was well known for her baking pies and cakes for her family and friends as well as selling them to restaurants around town. Louise grew blueberries and muscadines, always giving them to her family and neighbors. She is preceded in death by her husband, Egbert (Luke) Barker.

Survivors include her daughter, Alaine Glover; granddaughter, Danielle Glover Bird; grandson, Ryan Glover; great grandchildren, Christian Bird, Christian Woodall, Emma Glover, Lily Glover and Dalton Bird, all of Cumming.

Private graveside funeral services will be held at Pleasant View Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Shad Faulkner officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 to 5:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Pleasant View Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.
