Louise Walls Harris

Louise Walls Harris journeyed from her earthly home to live eternally with her Lord on Sunday, March 19, 2023.  Louise was born in Cumming, GA on March 22, 1932 and passed just three days short of her 91^st birthday.  She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Eva (Castleberry) Walls, and three brothers, Loyd Walls, Estus Walls, and Edward Walls. Two sisters, Betty Shadburn and Sue Payne (James) still reside in Cumming.  Louise was married to her late husband, Rufus Talmadge Harris on November 26, 1954 with whom she had two children, James Rickey Harris and wife, Sharon of Dallas, GA and Kathy Harris Chandler of Acworth, GA.  Although she held many various jobs in her life she was most devoted to her role as mother and heart of the entire family.   

Louise was a loving grandmother to Penny and Jeremy Roberts (Cartersville), Laura Harris (Dallas), Thomas and Tiffany Harris (Cartersville), Michael and Lindsay Chandler (Acworth), and Kelsey and Nolen Sweet (LaGrange).  She leaves a legacy of 11 great grandchildren: Brynna, Braeden, Carson, Beckett, Olivia, Charlotte, Colin, Jackson, Rhett, Caleb and Beau.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Saturday March 25, 2023 in the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Steve Dews, Rev. Thomas Harris & James Payne officiating. Interment will follow in Sawnee View Gardens. The family will receive friends Saturday from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM prior to the service.
