Loyd Willis Holtzclaw

Loyd Willis Holtzclaw, age 77, a lifelong resident of Forsyth County, passed away on Tuesday, February 8, 2022. He was born in 1944, to the late Egbert "Beck" and Ruby Dean Holtzclaw. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother Troy Holtzclaw.

He is survived by his loving wife Deborah Burruss Holtzclaw; children, Rhonda (Tom) Johnson, Christopher (Mary) Holtzclaw, and Ed Cook; stepdaughters, Maggie (Bobby) Graham, and Katie Wise (Geoff Florence); brothers, Ricky (Debbie) Holtzclaw, and Kenneth (Shyrl) Holtzclaw; 8 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild; along with many other loving relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, February 13, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home in Cumming, GA with Rev. Gary Martin and Rev. Christopher Holtzclaw officiating. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.  and 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Sunday from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service.
