Mrs. M. Jane Miller, age 76 of Gainesville, GA passed away Saturday, May 9, 2009. Survivors include her husband, Richard Miller; son and daughter-in-law, Reed and Joni Miller and daughter, Emma; daughter and son-in-law, Rhonda Miller and Rob Estill, children, Robert and Alexandra and daughter and son-in-law, Cathy Miller and Johnny Dunn, sons, Travis and Taylor; and her brother, Carroll Nelson and all his children and grandchildren. Jane was a complex person who would drive everyone to do their best and support them throughout their endeavors. But then could always have a good laugh too. She was a friend, a companion, a mother, a wife and beyond. She was the mother that actively participated in everything her children did. From football to baseball to basketball to band to dance and to swimming; whether it was in California, Michigan or Georgia. She was a shoulder to lean on and a supporter to all that knew her. She was lovingly known by the family as the director and she did not disagree. She was a retiree of GMAC and lived on Lake Lanier in Gainesville, GA since 1983 with her husband and all their many beloved animals. In the last few weeks of her life, she stated how special it was to see her favorite cousins, aunt and her brother, Carroll. She celebrated her 55th wedding anniversary on May 1st with a shot of Drambui and topped the weekend off with the annual watching of the Kentucky Derby. Again, as traditions stand, she did not pick the winning horse. We will miss her. Ingram Funeral Home Crematory, Cumming, GA is in charge of the arrangements.
