Mack Edward Lummus

Mr. Mack Lummus, age 91 of Cumming, GA passed away on December 4, 2022.  He was born on April 13, 1931, to the late Gordon and Agnes Heath Lummus.  In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death wife Gerry Lummus, his brothers, Weldon, James and John and his sisters, Ruth and Betty.  

Out of high school, Mack served in the Air Force for four years.  He then worked at Sears, where he retired after 30+ years of service. Upon retirement, Mack turned his passion to his grandson and watching sports, especially NASCAR races and the Atlanta Braves.

Mack is survived by his son Randy, daughter in law, Sandra and grandson, Hayden.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 17, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at New Harmony Baptist Church in Cumming, GA with Rev. Pete Martin and Rev. Dan Henderson officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
