Malinda Lou Blackwell

Malinda Lou Blackwell, age 67 of Ball Ground, passed away on March 26, 2013. Malinda enjoyed cooking and baking for her family. She is preceded in death by her parents, Gilbert and Jean Heining; husband, James Henard Blackwell; sister, Mary Ellen Chandler. Survivors include her children, Paige (Allen) Prather, Shane Blackwell, Judy (Harold) Haygood, Jean Henson; grandchildren, Ashley (Christopher) Strickland, Adam Prather, Austin Blackwell, Little Henard (Alex) Blackwell, Abby Blackwell, Candace Henson, Vanessa Henson, Jared Henson, Selena Phillips, Carrie Haygood; great grandchildren, Addie Grace Strickland, Blane Phillips, Taygen Henson and other loving relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Friday, March 29, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with Rev. Danny Orr and Rev. Pete Martin officiating. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service.
