Mandy Helen Born

Mandy Helen Born, age 77 and a native of Forsyth County, passed away Tuesday, March 12, 2013. She was a member of Pine Crest Baptist Church. Helen loved her Church and family and was a foster parent for 30 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald L. Born and son, Scot D. Born. Survivors include her children, Allen Born of Cumming, Jackie Born of Commerce, Judy (Travis) Scoggins of Rydal, Susan (Richard) Thompson of Ball Ground, Sandy (Shane) Walls of Cumming; 6 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive. Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 14th at 2:00 pm at Pine Crest Baptist Church with Rev. Craig Richard, Rev. Ronnie Waters and Rev. Butch Kirk officiating. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 2:00 pm until 9:00 pm and Thursday from 9:00 am until hour of the service.
