Mangram Arthur Elzey, age 73, of Cumming, GA, passed away Monday, December 5, 2011. He was a member of Cumming Second Baptist Church for 60 years. Mangram was also a member of the Ducktown Masonic Lodge FAM 572 and The Royal Arch of Lafayette Lodge. He was a master electrician at General Motors for 25 years and enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping in his free time. He was an avid outdoorsman, but he loved the Lord the best. He is preceded in death by his parents, Harley and Agnes Elzey; father and mother-in-law, Raymond and Grace Kuykendall and his brothers-in-law, Lewis Coleman and Roy Stewart. Survivors include his loving wife of 52 years, Kathryn Kuykendall Elzey; daughter and son-in-law, Robin and Rev. Nathan Martin; sister, Ruby Coleman; sister and brother-in-law, Martha and Jimmy Dixon; brother and sister-in-law, Rev. Melvin and Anita Elzey; grandchildren, Jonathan and Joshua Martin; sister-in-law, Barbara Stewart all of Cumming and other loving relatives. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 7, 2011 at11 a.m. in the Chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with Rev. Sam Rickett, Rev. Nathan Martin and Rev. Melvin Elzey officiating. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, from 4 to 9p.m. and on Wednesday, from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Cumming Second Baptist Church, 1880 Dr. Bramblett Rd. Cumming, GA 30028. Ingram Funeral Home Crematory, Cumming, Georgia is in charge of arrangements.
