Marcus Dean Townsend

Marcus Dean Townsend, 65, of Cumming, passed away Sunday, November 30, 2014. Marcus was a member of Antioch Baptist Church in Cumming. He was also a Veteran of the United States Army. Survivors include his daughter, Kathleen Townsend of Fairbanks, Alaska; sisters and brother-in-law, Millie Chumbler of Cumming, Emma Evans of Cumming, Joanne and Henry Cox of Cumming, Carrie Martin of Homer; 1 granddaughter and many other loving relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ingram Funeral home with Rev. Paul Dankewich officiating. Interment will follow at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery in Cumming. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, from 2 to 9 p.m. and on Wednesday, from 9 a.m. until the hour of service.
