Marcus Leon Waters

Marcus Leon Waters, age 83, and lifelong resident of Forsyth County, passed away Monday, May 30, 2011. He was a member of Pine Crest Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife Imogene Mason Waters. Survivors include his companion, Evelyn Padgett of Cumming; daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Franklin Cowart of Cumming; sons and daughter-in-law, Jimmy Waters of Graystone AL, Rev. Ronnie and Delia Waters of Cumming, Michael Waters of Cumming; grandchildren, Rev. Butch and Ronda Kirk, Teresa and Scott Kirby, Rev. Jeremy and Tonya Waters, Brandon and Lisa Waters, Hunter Waters, Morgan and Mason Waters; 10 great grandchildren; and a number of other relatives also survive. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Wednesday, June 1st at Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dan Henderson, Rev. Craig Richard and Rev. John Roden officiating. Interment will follow in Sawnee View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Monday from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm, Tuesday from 11:00 am until 9:00 pm and Wednesday from 9:00 am until hour of service. Ingram Funeral Home Crematory, Cumming, Georgia is in charge of arrangements.
