Margaret (Marge) L. Pafford

Margaret L. (Marge) Pafford, 91, of Dawsonville, Georgia, passed away on December 24, 2019 after a long illness.

Marge was born on May 17, 1928 in Olean, NY. She was the daughter of Percy and Katharine Senn Faulkner. She graduated Bolivar Central School, in Bolivar, NY and later married Donald Ford of Olean, NY, who predeceased her.

She worked at various jobs but primarily enjoyed being a homemaker. She was baptized June 20, 1953 as one of Jehovahs Witnesses and stayed busy in the many activities related to her faith.

She moved to Albuquerque, NM where she met and married Winton Pafford. They spent 37 happy years together until his death in August 2017.

Marge is survived by three children: Jim (Linda) Ford of Boynton Beach, Fl,

David (Kim) Ford of Vero Beach, FL and Kate (Clint) Brown of Dawsonville, GA.

She is survived by sisters: Jean Judd of Las Cruces, NM and Suzanne (John) Perez of Yulee, FL, and brothers: Allen (Norma) Faulkner of Sebastian, FL, and George (Marian) Faulkner of Wilmington, NC.

Marge was Grandmother to 10 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and a soon to be born great-great grandchild.

She had many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who knew and appreciated her kind and loving ways.

She was preceded in death by brothers Fred Faulkner of Little Genesse, NY, and John Faulkner of Maryville, TN, and granddaughter Jamie Brown Gomez of Dawsonville, GA.

Marge was a beautiful person- a loving daughter, wife, sister, mother, grandmother and friend. She was the best and kindest mother a person could ever wish for. We will all miss her.

Services are to be determined at a later time.
