Margaret Lillian "Peggy" Shiflett

Margaret Lillian "Peggy" Shiflett, age 72 of Cumming, passed away Saturday, March 1, 2014. She attended St. Brendan's Catholic Church. Peggy enjoyed spending time with family. She was an avid reader, enjoyed cross stitching and crocheting. Survivors include her husband of 52 years, Gary Shiflett of Cumming; children, Debby and Dr. Jeff James of Virginia, Ellen Elsey of Alpharetta, Drs. Bryan and Natalie Shiflett of Idaho; sisters, Trudy, Lori and Carol; grandchildren, Jeffrey, Chad, Ryan and Kathryn. Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 6th at 11:00 a.m. at St. Brendan's Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. Matthew VanSmoorenburg officiating. Interment will follow in Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, GA at 2:30 p.m. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Wednesday from 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Ingram Funeral Home & Crematory, Cumming, Georgia is in charge of arrangements.
