Margaret Wallace

Margaret Wallace, age 82, of Cumming, Georgia, was welcomed into the gates of Heaven on Monday, October 28, 2013. Margaret was born and raised in Edinburgh, Scotland, where she married her husband, George Wallace and gave birth to her two beautiful daughters, Denise and Sandra. Soon after, Margaret and her family moved to Toronto, Canada where she provided a loving home to raise her girls. Margaret valued family more than anything in the world and wanted to be involved in the upbringing of her four grandchildren. She lived in Canada through the marriage of her oldest daughter, Denise, and the birth of her two oldest grandchildren, Shannon and Mark. Atlanta, Georgia became Margaret's home in the early 90's, after her youngest daughter Sandra married and had two girls of her own, Courtney and Heather.Although Margaret held many temporary homes dear to her heart, she now lives in the home of her Lord, where she will be blessed with eternal peace and happiness. Survivors include her two daughters, Denise (and her husband Joe)Doxtater and Sandra Ford; her four grandchildren, Shannon (and her husband Matthew) Campbell, Mark Latham, Courtney Ford (and her fianc Alex Belden) and Heather Ford; her dearest friends and loved ones, George Wallace, Dan Simpson,Keith Ford,Joy Rimmer, Margaret and John Chisholm, Isabelle Walker and Joe's children, Amanda, Matt, Jillian, Tim, JJ and Stephanie Doxtater; and all of the individuals she touched throughout her life's journey. The family will welcome friends for visitation at Ingram Funeral Home on Saturday, November 2nd from 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the Chapel immediately following the visitation service.
