Margie Phillips Byers

Margie Phillips Byers, 90, of Cumming passed away Friday, October 6, 2023. Margie was born March 2, 1933 in Cumming to the late Rev. Clifford and Estie Hughes Phillips. She was a member of Piedmont United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Everett Phillips and her sister, Marie Dooley.

Survivors include her son, Timmy Byers; brother, Carroll Phillips; sisters, Hazel (Louie) Hansard, Ruthie (Junior) Coker and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Graveside funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 10, at 1:00 p.m. at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Carlton Coker officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
