Margie Ruth Hicks

Margie Ruth Hicks, age 77, of Suwanee, passed away Tuesday, January 7, 2014. She was a member of Brookwood Baptist Church. Margie was the twelfth child of Roscoe and Cora Moon. Margie was preceded in death by her husband, Sug Hicks. Survivors include her children, Wayne (Dixie) Hicks of Suwanee, Karen (Gary) Whelan of Virginia; Donnie (Sheila) Hicks of Suwanee; 10 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; sister, Lucille Anderson of Scottdale, GA; and many other loved ones and friends. Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 9, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. in the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Johnny Purcell officiating. Interment will follow at Brookwood Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Wednesday from 1 P.M. until 9 P.M., Thursday from 9 A.M. until the hour of the service.
