Margie L. Sweatman

Margie L. Sweatman, age 77, of Dawsonville, GA., passed away on Monday, February 3, 2025. She was preceded by her parents, Clarence and Ruby Smallwood; her husband, Horace Sweatman of 50 years; siblings, Arlene Fraiser, Felton Smallwood, and Steve Smallwood. Margie lived and raised her family in the Haw Creek and Daves Creek communities. She was a member of Daves Creek Baptist Church.

Survivors include her children, Scott and Tammie Sweatman, Chris and Angela Sweatman, Teresa and Carey Harrison, Alan and Christy Sweatman; grandchildren, Austin, Krissy, Phoebe, Cayley, Alex, Anna, Ali,and Austin; great grandchildren, Luke, Dakota, Dylan, Copelan, and Baela Grace; siblings, Mary Smallwood, Hazel and Bobby McDaniel; a multitude of nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held Friday, February 7, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Joey Gilbert and Rev. Jack Pilcher officiating.

Interment will be at Daves Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Thursday from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home.
