Marian Jeanette Whitley

Marian Jeanette Whitley, 86, of Forsyth County, passed away Tuesday, December 30, 2014. Marian was a member of Salem Baptist Church in Gainesville. She is preceded in death by her husband, Oscar Leroy Whitley and her daughter, Nancy Richardson. Survivors include her daughters and son-in-law, Sandra and Rev. Michael Miller of North Carolina, Michelle Whitley Goffe of Gainesville; son, Kenneth Whitley of Gainesville; brothers and sisters-in-law, Raymond and Joan Gilbert of Madison, GA, C.C. Gilbert of Athens, GA, Clifford and Martha Gilbert of North Carolina; 10 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren and many other loving relatives and friends. Memorial services will be held Saturday, January 3, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with Rev. Keith Martin, Rev. Bud Sutton and Rev. Michael Miller officiating. Interment will follow at Salem Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, from 5 to 9 p.m. and on Saturday, from 9:30 a.m. until the hour of service.
