Marie Bettie Jones

Mrs. Marie Bettie Jones 91 of Cumming departed this life January 11, 2025, at her residence surrounded by her family. Mrs. Jones was a lifelong resident of the North Georgia area and was of the Baptist faith. Marie enjoyed dancing, slot machines and was the best biscuit maker ever! Marie was preceded in death by her husband, Seaborn Jones, parents, Wylie and Dora Pirkle, siblings, Tom Pirkle, Jack Pirkle, Jerry Pirkle, Edward Pirkle, Gene Pirkle, Albert Pirkle and Rosemary Cantrell, grandchildren, Matthew Miller and Blakley Chumbler. 

Survivors include children, Nancy Buice (Phillip), Doris Miller, Susan Cunningham (Donald) and Betty Martin, siblings, Grace Shadburn and Wyolene Parker (Fred), grandchildren, Jerry Buice, Jamie Buice (Amanda), Jesse Miller (Tearrani Burt), Rush Cunningham, Jacob Chumbler (Amber) Monica Chumbler (Jeremy DisPain). 

Services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Marie Jones will be Friday January 17, 2025, at 1:00 PM in the chapel of Ingram funeral home with Rev. Keith Trulove officiating. Marie will be laid to rest beside her husband in the Midway Methodist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday January 16, 2025, from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM
