Marion Eugene Langston

Eugene Langston, age 78 of Cumming passed away on Monday, May 27, 2024. Eugene was a member of New Harmony Baptist Church. He was a United States Army Veteran serving in the Vietnam War. He was a member of the VFW in Cumming. Eugene was preceded in death by his parents, Guy and Mattie Elizabeth Langston; sisters, Ruby McDougal and Shirley Smith.

Survivors include his wife, Nancy J. Langston; children, Patrick and Janie Langston, Christopher Michael Langston and Kevin Dwayne and Amy Langston; grand-children, Dillon Langston, Andrew (Miranda)Langston, Emily Langston and McKalan Langston; great grand-children, Jasper, Jr., Ashlynn, Greyson, Holden, Alaric and Lydia; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Clifton and Amy Kirby, Ronnie Kirby, Fred and Virginia Kirby, Larry and Janice Kirby and Dorthy Chester; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.

Funeral services will be held Friday, May 31, 2024, at 2:00 pm at New Harmony Baptist Church with Rev. Pete Martin, Rev. Johnny Purcell and Rev. Michael Green officiating. Interment will follow in New Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Wednesday from 4:00 pm until 9:00 pm. Thursday from 9:00 am until 9:00 pm and Friday from 9:00 am until the hour of the service.
