Marjorie Elaine Taylor Castleberry, age 72 of Cumming, Georgia, passed away May 24th. Marjorie was born May 2, 1940 in Northeast Forsyth County, Georgia to Ray and Corrine Taylor. She retired from Crawford and Company after 15 years of faithful service in 2006 having achieved and received several awards with the company. Although she was previously employed at the Richardson Independent School District (Texas) and The University of Texas at Dallas, she was primarily a proud homemaker raising three children for 27 years. She was also an accomplished freelance writer and artist. Marjorie is survived by her three children, Craig Castleberry of Dallas, TX, Dawn Castleberry of Dallas, TX and Melody Castleberry of Cumming, GA; grandchildren, Lane Castleberry and Kristen Castleberry; brother Bob Taylor of Cumming, GA; and countless cousins, other relatives and wonderful friends. Also known as Mother Marj, she continued a life of Christian ministry and service even most recently with her internet Prayer Team...Evergreen. The family will receive family and friends on Sunday, May 27th at Ingram Funeral Home from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. and again from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at Ingram Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, May 28th at 2:00 p.m with the Rev. Bud Sutton and Rev. Gerald Blackburn officiating. Interment will follow the service at Salem Baptist Church Cemetery. Ingram Funeral Home & Crematory, Cumming, Georgia is in charge of arrangements.
