Martha Dean Bettis

Miss. Martha Dean Bettis, age 84 of Cumming, passed away on Thursday, September 16, 2010. She was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl C. and Capitola Bettis; brothers, Rev. Charles Bettis, Horace Bettis; sister, Allie Mae Bettis. Survivors include her sisters, Ruth Bettis and Julia Bettis both of Cumming; and a number of cousins and friends also survive. Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 18, 2010,at 2:00 pm at Bethlehem Baptist Church with Rev. Danny Orr, Rev. Larry Vaughan and Rev. John Lummus officiating. Interment will follow in Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery. Remains will be placed in state at the Church at 1:30pm. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Thursday from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm, Friday from 9:00 am until 9:00 pm and Saturday from 9:00 am until hour of service. Ingram Funeral Home Crematory, Cumming, Georgia is in charge of arrangements.
