Martha Sue Whitmire

Martha Sue Whitmire, age 77, of Cumming, GA., passed away on Tuesday, December 24, 2024. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Clyde Whitmire; parents, William Neal Jackson and Vera Lucille Manders; her sisters, Teresa Ballenger and Shirlene Garmon; her brother, Johnny Jackson; her grandson, William Carl Gravitt.

Survivors include her children, Albert and Debbie Gravitt, Angelia Barnes and Rusty Matthews; 8 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; brothers and sister-in-law, Charles and Linda Jackson, James Manders; several nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Funeral service will be held Sunday, January 5, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bud Sutton and Rev. Travis Bridgeman officiating.

Interment will be at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends on Friday and Saturday from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and on Sunday from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home.
