Mary Bowyer Googer

Mary Bowyer Googer, 83, of Cumming, passed away Thursday, October 26, 2017. A loving mother, wife and grandmother, Mary enjoyed a long career with Richs Department Stores as an Executive Secretary.Her real passion was her family life and doting on her grandchildren. Mary is preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, Henry Baxter Googer.

Survivors include her sons, Hank and Irina Googer of Cumming, Patrick Googer of Cleveland, TN; grandchildren, Georgia Googer, Jimmy Googer, Justice Googer, Savannah Googer, Marcus Googer, Maddox Googer; sister, Katherine Stephens of Alton, TN; a special niece, Virginia Webb of Clarksville, GA and a number of loved nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held Sunday, October 29, at 3:00 p.m. at the Stone Mountain Cemetery with Pastor Robb Harrell officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimers Association at www.alz.org.
