Mary Catherine "Kay" Ellis, age 58 died Saturday, September 6th, 2014. A native of Chicago, IL. Mary and her family had lived in Alpharetta for 19 years. She was employed at Berger and O'Neal Insurance Agency. She is survived by her mother, Mary Lou Desmond of Snellville; her husband, Michael G. Ellis of the home; sons, Michael G. Ellis, Jr. and David Ellis of Alpharetta; daughter, Sara Corey "Justin" of Cumming; brother, Harry Black of St. Petersburg, FL; sisters, Peggy Villano of Snellville and Becky Owens of Spring Hill, FL. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated Saturday, September 13th at 7:00 pm at St. Benedict Catholic Church in Johns Creek.
