Mary Charlotte Gravitt

Mary Charlotte Gravitt, age 89, of Cumming, passed away on Tuesday, July 11, 2023. She was a licensed nurse for sixty years and loved her Lord, family and church. 

She is survived by 2 sons, Avery (Kay) Gravitt and Rev. Dexter Gravitt. She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Charles L. Gravitt and son, Tony Gravitt.

Also survived by; daughter-in-law, Dale H. Gravitt. Four grandchildren, Amy (Davey) Bales, Brandon (Amy) Gravitt, Jeff (Alycia) Gravitt and Erica (Mitchell) Hendrix and 13 great-grandchildren. Special niece, Joyce Caine, sister-in-law, Louise Castleberry and a number of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 14, at 2:00pm at Coal Mountain Baptist Church, with Rev. Dexter Gravitt, Rev. Jeff Gravitt and Rev. Craig Richard officiating.

The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Thursday, July 13, from 2:00pm-5:00pm and from 6:00pm-9:00pm and Friday from 12 noon until 2:00pm.

Interment will be at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens.
