Mary Lucille Hudson, age 87 of Winston, passed away, March 13, 2012. She was born January 31, 1925 in Douglasville to the late Buck Morris and Myrtle Brewer Morris. She worked during her career in the textile industry and attended the Cross Plains Church. In addition to her parents, Buck Morris and Myrtle Brewer Morris, she was preceded in death by her husband, Horace Hudson, sons: Richard Gilstrap and Charles Gilstrap; daughter: Nancy Strickland; sisters: Mildred Morris Lee and Annie Ruth Morris Hansard. Survivors are her children and their spouses: Patsy and Terry Worthan of Winston, Wanda and Johnny Purcell of Cumming, Freddie Gilstrap of Temple and Lynn Crofts of Douglas Co, 12 grandchildrren, 21 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives. Funeral Services will be held Friday, March 16, 2012 at 11:00 AM from Hightower's Memorial Chapel with Pastor Johnny Purcell and pastor Terry Worthan officiating. Interment will follow in the City of Douglasville Cemetery with grandsons and great grandsons serving as Pallbearers.
