Matthew Ryan Anderson

MATTHEW RYAN ANDERSON, 22 of Cumming Georgia Passed away on Sunday July 3rd, 2011.

He is survived by his parents, Mark Christopher and Pamela Marlene Anderson; brother, Daniel Gareth Anderson; grandparents, Richard and Edith Swanson and Christina Carpenter; 2 aunts, 3 uncles, 10 cousins and 3 second cousins.

The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home on Thursday July 7th, 2011 from the hours of 5-8pm. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held on Friday July 8th, 2011 at 6pm at the North Point Community Church " Held in the Attic " located at 4350, North Point Parkway, Alpharetta, Georgia.

Matthew Ryan Anderson loved life. He was a gentleman, a musician, and athlete, our loving son... and a great friend. He loved to listen to all kinds of music. He played guitar, piano and drums. Matt was an amazing athlete. He was all county defensive end in 2006. At Forsyth Central, (2004-2007) Matt participated in wrestling as a freshman, weightlifting (placing in regional's) and was on the football team all four years. Matt graduated with straight A's (4.2 GPA) and got an early admit to UGA.

GO DAWGS! Matt loved his life at Georgia. Matt was a brother at Sigma Pi and a candidate for graduation in spring 2012 with a degree in Finance.

But to Matt, his friends were more important than any of his accomplishments. People were a priority. He loved his family and friends dearly. Matthew Ryan Anderson.... his smile was genuine and his laugh was infectious.

The family has requested that in lieu of flowers that donations be made to " Matthew Anderson Fund for beating the demons of Drugs", 1730 Independence Trail, Cumming, Georgia 30040.
