Mellissa Addison Hammons

Mellissa Addison Hammons, age 65, of Ball Ground, GA was promoted to her heavenly home on Thursday, March 3, 2022. She was born in 1957 to the late Fred Addison and Dora Juanita Addison. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers, Michael Paul Addison, and Fred Pete Addison. She was a true woman of God and a member of Freedom Tabernacle Church in Cumming, GA.

She is survived by her loving husband, Michael Hammons; children, Addison Faith, Joshua Michael, Janet Maleah Russell, Holly Noel Doggette, and Chloe Janett Hebert; siblings, Theora Lusk, and Noah Addison; grandchildren, Gracey Ryan, Shelby Hammons, Randi Maleah Doggette, Jax Russell, and Mack Doggette; along with many other loving relatives and friends.

Memorial services will be held Tuesday, March 8, 2022, at 10:30 a.m. at Freedom Tabernacle Church in Cumming, GA with Pastor Robbie Mathis officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. 

A second memorial service will be Friday, March 11 at Pathway Church, Moffett Campus. Visitation 6pm-7pm. Celebration of Life 7pm. Pastor Andric Daugherty officiating.
