Merrill Joy Paige

Merrill Joy Paige, 65, of Lawrenceville, GA, passed away Sunday May 9, 2010.

She was born to the late Everett and Hilda Campbell, March 10, 1945, in Peoria, IL. She married Tom Paige in 1970, and they have lived together in Lawrenceville, GA., since 1986.

Merrill was the Clinical Manager for the Mother/Baby post-partum unit for Gwinnett Medical Centers Womens Pavilion since 1991, and was an active member of First United Methodist Church in Lawrenceville. She had a passion for all things that had to do with Georgia Southern Football.

Merrill is survived by her husband, Tom Paige of Lawrenceville, GA.; son, Brent Paige of Augusta, GA.; daughter, Jennifer (Randy) Shaheen of Cumming, GA.; sisters, Nancy (Allen) Johnson of Loda, Ill.; Holly (Jim) Flanigan of Decatur, Ill.; three grandchildren, RJ Shaheen, Abi Shaheen and Maddox Paige. A Memorial Service is planed for Sunday May 16, 2010 at the First United Methodist Church in Lawrenceville at 4pm with a reception to immediately follow at the church in the Family Life Center.
