Michael Dennis Murphey

Michael Dennis Murphey, 73, of Snellville, GA passed away April 19, 2023. Michael was born on October 3, 1949, in Columbus, Ohio. Michael was preceded in death by his grandparents, father, Ralph R. Murphey, brother, Brian K. Murphey; sister in-law, Judith Murphey. Michael was retired from American  Honda Motor Corporation after 20 plus years of service as a district service and parts manager in Florida and Tennessee.  Michael’s hobbies and interest included skiing, boating, motorcycling, camping, motocross and NASCAR. He cherished a lifetime of close friends. Family always came first in his great love for life. Already missing him are his mother, M. Jo Murphey; brothers, Patrick K. Murphey, Brad K. Murphey; nephew, Justin P. (Stephanie); great niece, Savannah J. Murphey; several cousins, nieces and nephews. His rescue dogs, Gauge and Mach were constant companions.
