Michael Wayne Waters

Michael Wayne Waters, age 63, peacefully passed away on Saturday, January 7. He was born in Cumming, GA and was a lifetime resident of Forsyth County.

Michael was known for his love, friendship, pride in his children, and most notably, his humor. He was gifted in the ability to make everyone smile. Whether it was a funny story, witty comeback, or borderline inappropriate comment, anyone around Michael was always laughing.

He was truly one-of-a-kind.

Michael is preceded in death by his parents, Imogene Mason Waters and Marcus Leon Waters; and sister, Linda Waters Cowart.

He is survived by his daughter, Morgan Waters; son, Mason (Maddy) Waters; long-time companion Vicki Dobrydnia; brothers Ronnie (Delia) Waters and Jimmy Waters; dog, Sunni; granddog, Jerry. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Celebration of Michael's life will be held on Sunday, January 15, 2023 at Pine Crest Baptist Church, 126 14th Street, Cumming, GA 30040. Visitation will be 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm with a service to follow.
