Mildred Ophelia Castleberry

Mildred Ophelia Castleberry, age 92 of Cumming, passed away Saturday, March 29, 2014. She was the oldest member of Harmony Grove Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Warren G. Castleberry; parents, Ray and Victoria Hemphill; sisters, Margaret Bennett and Wilma Turner; brother, Dr. Roger Hemphill. Survivors include her children and their spouse, Phil and Martha Castleberry of Cumming, Wanda and Carl Garner of Cumming, Linda and Mikel Evans of Gainesville, Donny and Beth Castleberry of Cumming, Bud and Susan Castleberry of Roswell, Earl and Rita Castleberry of Cumming, Cecil and Gail Castleberry of Cumming, Edna and Rev. Danny Orr of Cumming, Patti Wilkie of Cumming, Tommy Castleberry of Cumming; 14 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren; and a host of family, friends and other relatives also survive. Funeral services will be held Monday, March 31th at 11:00 am at Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Vernie Worley, Rev. Robert Martin and Rev. Gerald Blackburn officiating. Interment will follow in Sawnee View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Sunday from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm and Monday from 9:00 am until hour of the service.
