Mildred Tallant Lamb

Mildred Tallant Lamb, age 87 of Cumming, passed away Tuesday, March 4, 2014. Mildred was born June 14, 1926. She was preceded in death by her husband, James O. Lamb; son, Theron J. Lamb; brother, J. Carroll Tallant; parents, Joel and Gussie Tallant. Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Hilda and Cecil Tidwell of Cumming, Sarah and David Sosebee of Dahlonega; son, Joseph W. Lamb of Cumming; daughter-in-law, Becky Lamb Jacobs of Cumming; grandchildren, Melanie and Chris Ellis, Michele and Clint Charles, April Anderson, Bacardy Wehunt, Malachi Wehunt; great grandchildren, Charlie and Jordan Ellis, Carah and Adalyn Charles; brother and sisters-in-law, J. Harold and Carrie Tallant, Ellen C. Tallant, Thelma Lamb. Funeral services will be held Friday, March 7th at 2:00 pm at Coal Mountain Baptist Church with Rev. Danny Bennett, Rev. Jerry Vernon and Johnny Tallant officiating. Interment will follow in Coal Mountain Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Thursday, March 6th from 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm and Friday from 10:00 am until 1:30 pm.
