Millen Smith "Skip" Whittington Jr

Millen "Skip" Smith Whittington, Jr., age 69 of Roswell, passed away on Sunday, April 17, 2016. He was a Navy Veteran of the Vietnam Conflict. He was preceded in death by his parents, Millen "Doc" and Helen Whittington; sister, Suellyn Walter; brother-in-law, Kenneth Farris. Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Faye Whittington of Roswell; daughter and son-in-law, Lindsey and Jay Guidry of Cumming; brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Karen Whittington of St. George Utah; granddaughters, Reagan and Madison; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Larry and Gayle Farris of Calera, AL, Robert Farris of Foley, AL, Mary Lynn Brandon of Alabaster, AL, Deborah and Dale Palmer of Marietta, Claudia Farris of AL; several nieces and nephews also survive. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, April 20th at 10:30 am at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, GA. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Tuesday from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm. Ingram Funeral Home & Crematory, Cumming, Georgia is in charge of arrangements.
