MITCHELL EUGENE CROWDER

Mitchell Crowder, 47, of Dawsonville, Ga, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2014, surrounded by his family.

Mitchell (known to many as Mitch) was born in Duluth, Ga, on March 31, 1966, to Raymond Eugene and Bessie Pirker Crowder. Mitch loved the outdoors spending time camping, fishing, and trapping. He was a lifetime member of the Georgia Trappers Association. He had many fond memories of spending part of his childhood on a farm in Palmetto, Ga. He was a loving and devoted husband, daddy, son, and brother. He was a member of Settendown Baptist Church in Cumming, Ga.

Mitchell is survived by his devoted wife of 23 yrs., Dena Brock Crowder; one son, Dakota Crowder; two daughters, Makayla and Kassidy Crowder; Mother, Bessie Crowder (Kenny B); two sisters, Deborah (Rod) Bownds and Susan (John) Dessecker; Father and Mother-in-law, Dennis and Betty Brock; Sister-in-law, Lori Hale; numerous nephews and nieces and a host of extended family members.

Mitchell was preceded in death by his Father, Raymond "Gene" Crowder.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, Jan. 9, 2014, 5:00-9:00, at Byars Funeral Home in Cumming, Ga. The family will also be receiving guests on Friday, Jan. 10, 2014, beginning at 11:00 at Trinity Worship Center, Cumming, Ga, with the funeral to follow at 1:00. Internment will follow at Sawnee Memorial Gardens, Cumming, Ga.
