Mollie Anne Oswald

Mollie Anne Oswald, 88, of Cumming, GA passed away November 21, 2024. Mollie was born in Jacksonville, FL to the late Henry and Anne Scott Rice. She has lived in Cumming for the last 51 years.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 52 years, Bill Oswald; and her daughter, Rebekah Buchanan. 

Mollie is survived by her daughters and sons in-law, Jennifer & Joe Shoemake; Deana & Joseph Smith; and Jeff Buchanan; 7 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and loving friends. 

Mrs. Oswald graduated from Georgia State College with a degree in education and earned her masters degree from North Georgia College. She taught school in Flordia and Georgia, teaching 5th grade for 16 years in Cumming. She enjoyed many crafts, cooking, and reading. Her family was her heart.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Saturday, November 23, 2024 in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with Rev. Kathie Stasko officiating. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Gardens in Cumming, GA.
