Ms. Karen Brooks

Ms. Karen Brooks, age 59 of Alpharetta, GA passed away Tuesday, August 25, 2009. A native of Houston, Ms. Brooks was a member of St. Columbas Episcopal Church. She worked at the Cathedral Book Store in Atlanta, served as co-chair of the Altar Guild at Cathedral of St. Philip and was active in other church and school activities. Survivors include her husband, Lester Pieniazek; son, Robert Anthony Brooks Pieniazek both of Alpharetta; and a number of cousins also survive. A Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, August 29th at 2:00 pm at St. Columbas Episcopal Church with The Rev. Fr. Tripp Norris and The Rev. Fr. Joe Greene officiating. Interment services will be held Tuesday, September 1st at 11:00 am at Brookside Cemetery in Houston, TX. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St. Columbas Episcopal Church, 939 James Burgess Road, Suwanee, GA 30024.
