Nadia Bishara Hosni

Nadia Bishara Hosni, 80, of Cumming, GA passed away on Thursday, January 4, 2024.

She was preceded in death by her husband Sam Hosni, her parents, John and Maud Bishara, and brother-in-law Roy Daheb.

Nadia is survived by her son, Paul Hosni and his wife Amanda and grandchildren Hudson and Ella Hosni of Cumming, GA. Her brother Rafik Bishara and his wife Pat of Carmel, Indiana; sisters-in-law Hoda Daheb of San Mateo, California and Nadia Moufarrige and her husband Samir Moufarraige of Lebanon

Nadia was born on May 31, 1943 in Cairo, Egypt. She married the love of her life, Sam on June 26, 1966. In 1968 Nadia and Sam moved to the United States where she became a US Citizen and became a teacher.

Nadia was a Godly, strong, stylish woman who approached life with unwavering passion for the things she loved. She worked hard to provide the best life for her family. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her family. She loved cooking, crocheting, needlepoint, singing, dancing and telling the best stories. Nadia had the BEST sense of style, always dressed up and color coordinated from head to toe. While living in Houston, Texas, Nadia was a faithful member of Tallowood Baptist Church and actively involved in Bible Study Fellowship. In Georgia, she attended Creekside Church and thoroughly loved the Bible Study she attended every Monday.

A viewing for Nadia will be held on Thursday, January 11, 2024 from 6pm – 7pm at Ingram Funeral Home, 210 Ingram Avenue, Cumming, GA 30040. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 13, 2024 at 10:00am at Ingram Funeral Home. After the service a private lunch at the home of Paul and Amanda Hosni will be arranged for family members and close friends from Cumming and those who have traveled to attend the celebration of Nadia’s life. 

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Cross Culture Student Ministry at Cross Church Atlanta where Nadia’s children and grandchildren are involved so that the next generation can be impacted by the word of God.
