Nancy Ingram

Nancy Ingram, a native and life-long resident of Forsyth County passed away on September 22, 2023. Nancy was born on September 23, 1940, to the late Odus and Ruth Cross.  Nancy was a member of Harmony Grove Church and worked for Tyson Foods for many years.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dean; granddaughter, Melanie Bertrand; son-in-law, Joey Bertrand; brothers, Bill, Charles (Buck), Harold, Matthew Cross; sisters, Margaret Cole, Doris Lamb, Helen Cross, Beth Schultz, Nina Pressley.

She is survived by her children, Shelly Bertrand of Cumming, Gary and Ann Ingram of Winder, Emily and Derek Ritchie of Buford; sister and brother-in-law, Rachel and Clyde Dacus of Gainesville; grandchildren, Melissa and Jaime Tavenier of Ball Ground, Daniel Ingram of Dawsonville, Donna Hamby of Dahlonega, Logan Shook of Los Angeles, CA, January Smith of Cumming, Tabitha Harris of Helen, GA; 8 great grandchildren; dearly loved neighbors, Georganna, Sabine, and Maria.  Thank you to Cumming Senior Living and Agape Hospice for their love and support.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, September 26, 2023, at 11:00 AM, at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens with Rev. Scott Sorrels officiating.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, September 25, 2023, from the hours of 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM.

Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to the Hightower Association Food Bank, 8630 Wallace Tatum Rd., Cumming, GA 30028, in memory of Nancy.
