Nancy Sue Spence

Nancy Sue Wolfe Spence, 71, of Cumming, Georgia, died February 16, 2013 with her family and friends by her side. Nancy, born in Cumming, Georgia was a devoted wife of 52 years, mother, grandmother, aunt and sister. She was a Classmate of the FCHS Class of 1960. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, Miles and Lila Mae Wolfe, and her daughter, Stacey Michelle Spence. She is survived by her husband, James Neal Spence, Sr.; daughters, Marty (Uwe) Kettel; Suzanne (Dowe Vaughan) Spence; son, Neal (Tammy) Spence, Jr. as well as 5 grandchildren, Hanna-Jill Kettel, Jessica Kettel, Jake Spence, Tyler Spence, Piper Spence-Vaughan, sisters, Virginia Wood and Jerry (Bill) Perrin; numerous nieces and nephews and other relatives. A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 23, 2013 at 1:00 pm in the Chapel of Cumming Baptist Church with Rev. Gerald Blackburn and Dr. Barry Crocker officiating. The family will receive guests prior to the service in the Chapel. In lieu of flowers, Nancy's wishes were for a donation to be made to the Cumming Baptist Church Building Fund in her name. Nancy Wolfe Spence was a founding member of Cumming Baptist Church. A private burial at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens will be held at a later date.
