NOTE CHANGE OF DATE AND TIME OF THE SERVICE Neil Edwin McWhorter, 77, passed away Friday, October 2, 2015 Born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, he and his wife, Nancy, moved to Atlanta in April, 1962 and never looked back. Neil served in the U.S. Army, Army Security Agency, attended Duke University and graduated from Georgia Tech with a degree in Industrial Management. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Nancy; sons, Matthew and Christopher; daughter-in-law, Christine; and granddaughters, Maggie and Emma. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, October 7, at 12:30 p.m. at Georgia National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Enable of Georgia, 1200 Old Ellis Road, Roswell, Georgia 30076. Ingram Funeral Home & Crematory, Cumming, Georgia is in charge of arrangements.
