Nell Lewis Mason

Nell Lewis Mason, age 93, of Hinesville passed away Tuesday, May 6, 2014. A long-time resident of Hinesville, Nell was a member of the Hinesville First United Methodist Church and the Ollie Darsey Sunday School Class. She was also a member of the Liberty County Garden Club. Nell was retired from the Presbytery of Savannah after more than 15 years of service. She is preceded in death by her husband, W.C. Mason. Survivors include her son, Bill Mason of Roswell, GA; 4 grandchildren, Will Mason of San Francisco, CA, Sam Mason of Galveston, TX, Cam Mason of Cumming, GA and Beau Mason of Athens, GA; a sister, Nancy L. Hood of Roswell. GA and 4 brothers, O.V. Lewis of Young Harris, GA, Joe H. Lewis of Barney, GA, Gene and John S. Lewis, both of Glennville, GA. Graveside services will be held in Hinesville at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ollie Darsey Sunday School Class at the First United Methodist Church, 203 N Main St, Hinesville, GA 31313. Ingram Funeral Home & Crematory, Cumming, Georgia is in charge of arrangements.
