Nellie Mae Land

Nellie Mae Land, age 90, of Cumming passed away Wednesday, February 25, 2015. Nellie was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother and loved her church family at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, James A. Land and a grandson, Darrin Hugh Gazaway. Survivors include her daughter, Joyce Gazaway of Cumming; 2 grandchildren, Crystal and Randy Chester, Jason and Trina Gazaway, all of Cumming; 4 great grandchildren, Eli Chester, Keeley Chester, Braylon Tankersley, Hannah Tankersley and a large number of nieces and nephews. She is also survived by Connie Hampton and the Barrentine family. Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 28th, at 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church with Rev. Michael Cantrell, Rev. Randy Richards, Rev. Robert Martin and Rev. Tony Allen officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
