Nellie Kate Welch

Nellie Kate Welch, age 95, of Cumming, GA passed away December 21, 2022. She was a loving wife, mother & grandmother. She was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bryson Welch, children, Donna Lummus, Cheryl Shoemake, siblings, Leonard Westray, Arlene Bennett & Tommy Westray.

She is survived by her son & daughter-in-law, Tim & Sarah Welch, of Cumming, GA, sister, Barbara Hamby, of Cumming, GA, grandchildren, Jennifer Phillips, Keith & Elizabeth Shoemake, Brian & Brandy Shoemake, Jessica Coppedge, Jordan Coppedge, Jeremy Coppedge, great grandchildren, D.J. Polly, Destiny Polly, Daylon Polly, Abby Shoemake, Anderson Shoemake, & Ben Shoemake.

Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 PM Friday December 23, 2022 in the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Craig Richard, Rev. Garry Engilsh, and Rev. Dennis Bottoms officiating. Interment will follow in Sawnee View Gardens. The family will receive friends Thursday from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and Friday from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the funeral home.
