Nettie Delores Holtzclaw Whitmire

Nettie Delores Holtzclaw Whitmire, age 81, of Cumming, GA, passed away on March 8, 2022.  She was a native of Forsyth County but grew up in NW Atlanta.  Delores was a charter member of Freedom Tabernacle in Cumming, GA.  She loved her family fiercely and made friends wherever she went.  She was a floral designer by trade and loved being outdoors.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Ruth Holtzclaw; husband, Marcus Whitmire.

She is survived by her daughter, Cindy Whitmire (Tracy); son, Jerry Padgett; sisters, Carolyn Chesser, Debbie (Kenny) Jones; grandchildren, Mandy Gravitt, Morgan (Sarah) Padgett; great grandchildren, Mason Warren, Lily Warren, Kolton Gravitt, Ryleigh Padgett; many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 11, 2022, at 1:00 PM, in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with Pastor Robbie Mathis, Rev. Camillo Simms, Kenny Jones, and Jerry Padgett officiating.  The interment will follow at Zion Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Cumming, GA.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, March 10^th, 2022, from the hours of 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM and again from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM.
