Nina Ledbetter Anglin, 58 of Cumming, GA passed away January 5, 2023. Mrs. Anglin was born in Cumming, GA and was a lifetime resident of Forsyth County. She was a member of New Harmony Baptist Church. Nina was a free spirit; her personality was larger than life. When she entered a room, you were drawn to her loving, caring, humorous, and generous spirit. Although Nina left us way to early, her memory will be cherished by all who knew her for their lifetime.
Nina loved deeply with all her heart. She loved everyone unconditionally, and was a friend to all. Her family meant everything to her, especially her son Wilson. She often said the greatest day of her life was when she became a mother. Anyone who knew Nina knew that Wilson was her whole heart and soul.
Nina loved sports and being outside. She played softball all four years at Forsyth County High School. She enjoyed gardening, hiking, camping, boating, hunting, and fishing. She saw God in the little moments in nature and loved watching the sunrise and sunset. Nina had a nurturing heart and cared for all animals. She found so much joy in being on her family’s farm surrounded by animals of all kinds, especially her beloved cats and dogs. Her soul was kind and her heart was full of passion.
Nina was preceded in death by her husband, Norris Anglin; maternal grandparents, Almon and Fairy Hill; paternal grandparents, Herbert and Kathryn Ledbetter.
She is survived by her son, Wilson Anglin; parents, Atwood and Lynda Ledbetter; sister and brother in-law, Dana and Mark Watkins; brother and sister in-law, Bert and Wendy Ledbettter; nieces and nephews, Lukas Ledbetter, Haley Watkins, Wesley Ledbetter, Hannah Watkins, Hollyn Watkins; great nephews, Liam Ledbetter, Wesley Bert Ledbetter, Jr., Henry Ledbetter; and her companion, Edwin Nobles. A number of other family and friends also survive.
Funeral services for Nina will be held 2:00 pm Saturday, January 21, 2023, in the chapel of Ingram funeral home with Rev. Johnny Purcell and Pastor Pete Martin officiating. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Gardens. The family will receive friends Saturday, January 21, 2023, from 11:00 am until the time of the service at Ingram Funeral Home. Flowers are accepted or In lieu of flowers please make donations in memory of Nina Ledbetter Anglin to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta Foundation, 1575 Northeast Expressway, Atlanta, GA 30329.
