Nina Marie Cockerham Senevey, age 85, a resident of Cumming, GA passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 13th 2016 surrounded by family.



Nina was born in Monroe City, IN in 1931 to Nesbeth and Bertha Cockerham, the fourth of nine children. She graduated from Monroe City High School in 1949 before attending Midwestern School of Evangelism in Ottumwa, IA, where she met Leo Senevey. Nina and Leo were married in the spring of 1953 and had four children. Nina and Leo were longtime residents of Jefferson City, MO (1956-1977) and Sidney, OH (1977-2012) before moving to Cumming to be closer to their son, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Nina was a generous and loving woman, who could often be found crocheting infant booties for the Sidney Women's Center or working on the daily crossword. She will be remembered for her faithful spirit, love of song, and unfailing sense of humor.



Nina was preceded in death by her parents Nesbeth and Bertha Cockerham, sisters Barbara Henshaw and Phyllis Fuelling, and brother Bill Cockerham. Nina is survived by her husband of 63 years, Leo Senevey; son Bruce Senevey (Mary O'Flaherty); daughter Brenda Frame (Paul); daughter Belinda Senevey; and daughter Beverly Snabl (Jim). Nina is also survived by her sisters Betty Goldman, Georgia McDaniel, and Ellen Small; brothers Ed Cockerham and Chuck Cockerham; grandchildren Anthony (Hannah), Dallas (Amber), Megan (Louis), Gordon, Austin, Adele, Micah (Anna), Kayla (Wesley); and 7 great-grandchildren, Sammy, Megan, Grant, Makenzie, Chase, Louis, and Mason.
